This sixth in a series of six packages of instructional materials developed by the Pre-Retirement Rehearsal Project contains a student's pre-retirement booklet specifically intended for adults with limited reading ability and teacher's guide, which consider financial planning for retirement, including such topics as types of income, Social Security, pension, or profit sharing benefits, and Veterans benefits; financial management, including budgeting; investments; life insurance and annuities; and taxes. The student booklet contains informative materials, an outline for financial planning, cost of living chart to complete, checklist for planning for financial security in retirement, a quiz on the material covered, and list of suggested readings. The teacher's guide suggests how to present instruction and provides five formats from which the teacher may choose.
