This fifth in a series of six packages of instructional materials developed by the Pre-Retirement Rehearsal Project contains a student's pre-retirement booklet specifically intended for adults with limited reading ability and teacher's guide, which consider options in planning one's leisure time in retirement, including volunteer opportunities, retirement jobs, hobbies, clubs and organizations, reading and learning, and physical activities. The student booklet contains informative materials, forms for listing skills and interests, a quiz on the material covered, and a list of suggested readings. The teacher's guide suggests how to present instruction and provides four formats from which the teacher may choose. A six-page list of leisure time opportunities in Lancaster County is also provided. The script for an accompanying slide/tape presentation, Are You Going to Take Retirement Cold Turkey?, is also provided (with availability cited).
