The overall effectiveness of the educational experiences provided at two West Tennessee ABE Workshops conducted in November 1971, excluding an objective measure of gain in knowledge, was studied. A questionnaire and an evaluation scale for use by workshop participants were administered to adult basic education personnel from all counties in West Tennessee. The primary objective of the two workshops was to acquaint the participants with what transpired in three adult basic education institutes held in the Summer of 1971.
