"Yeshivawatch"--Year Nine.
Douglas, Joel M., Ed.
National Center for the Study of Collective Bargaining in Higher Education and the Professions Newsletter, v16 n5 Nov/Dec 1988
Developments are traced in 11 of the most recent court cases based on the decision in National Labor Relations Board v. Yeshiva University (1980), which held that faculty at Yeshiva University were managerial employees and not entitled to bargain collectively under the protection of the National Labor Relations Act. The Yeshiva claims described here include disposition of pending litigation, disposition of newly initiated Yeshiva claims and public sector Yeshiva claims. In addition, a chart summarizing the key points and disposition of all Yeshiva-related claims is provided. (KM)
