This article is designed for counselor educators who have an interest in teaching creative approaches in counseling. A simple format or template is provided for teaching a course on using creative approaches in counseling with children and adolescents. This course was created and taught in a 1-week institute format. Included are detailed descriptions of course activities including objectives, rationales, and sample questions for processing the activities. Implications for counselor training are also offered.
