Factors Affecting the Successful Employment of Transition-Age Youths with Visual Impairments

The following variables were found to be associated with employment for transition-age youths with visual impairments who are served by vocational rehabilitation agencies: work experience, academic competence, self-determination, use of assistive technology, and locus of control. Self-esteem and involvement with the counselor were not associated with employment in this study. (Contains 2 tables.)
