An Educational Test of the Learning Potential Hypothesis with Adolescent Mentally Retarded Special Class Children, Volume II. Final Report.
Budoff, M.
A manipulative, nonverbal oriented unit on electricity which was used in an experiment with educable mentally handicapped students is presented. Lessons and worksheets to accompany them are represented with instructions and drawings. A teacher's curriculum guide for the unit includes concepts to teach, materials, lectures and activities, and answers to questions the students are asked to complete. Also presented are the lessons from the students' workbooks for the lecture-demonstration electricity unit. These materials were used in research reported in EC 004 358.
