This booklet is the tenth in a series of ten programed instruction units which was developed as a career related language arts program to teach library skills to junior high school students. The objective of this unit is for the student to read seven "paragraphs" on librarianship as a career, and complete tests and activities to demonstrate mastery of the subject matter. The paragraphs provide information on salaries, educational requirements, and personal qualities for a librarian, and the types of libraries in which a librarian may be employed. The booklet is illustrated with cartoons and drawings. (JAB)
