This booklet is the eighth in a series of ten programed instruction units which was developed as a career related language arts program to teach library skills to junior high school students. The objectives of this unit are for the student to be able to (1) list ten format sections of a book (e.g., table of contents, glossary, bibliography), (2) demonstrate knowledge of the function of each format section, and (3) make a book containing the ten format sections explained in this booklet. Students proceed through the exercises at their own pace. The booklet is illustrated with cartoons and drawings. (JAB)
