This booklet is the fifth in a series of ten programed instruction units which was developed as a career related language arts program to teach library skills to junior high school students. The objectives of this unit are to demonstrate mastery of the use of the Readers' Guide and to reinforce skills in finding periodicals by performing hands-on activities. Students complete the required material at their own pace. The booklet is illustrated with cartoons and drawings. (JAB)
