Meyen, Edward L.; Altman, Reuben
Part 10 of a series of 13 instructor's manuals for the competency based training of curriculum consultants for exceptional children focuses on the development of support systems. Three competencies are considered: (1) that a curriculum consultant should be capable of developing a comprehensive and systematic inservice training program, (2) that a curriculum consultant should be capable of designing classroom settings conducive to good teaching/learning conditions, and (3) that a curriculum consultant should be capable of developing procedures which facilitate the acquisition of needed instructional materials. Among materials included in the manual are lists of behavioral objectives for the module, enabling activities, and evaluation criteria for each of the competency components. Space is provided for the instructor to list resources and comments for the activities provided for each component. A conference record sheet is included for each of the three competencies. (PHR)
