This report draws a clear if disturbing picture of the children of Resurrection City, the nature of their family life, and their behavior under duress in the confusion of Resurrection City. The authors worked with the City's 157 children for four weeks. Also included is a discussion of some of the broader implications of this work by a white child psychiatrist and a black preschool teacher experienced in poverty programs. (Author/DM)
