This curriculum guide is designed for 11th- and 12th-grade students or for adults who are interested in pursuing a career in the financial institution field. It can be used as a stand-alone curriculum for an entry-level career as a customer service/account representative. The guide consists of four units of instruction. Each unit contains some or all of these components: performance objectives, suggested activities for the instructor, information sheets, assignment sheets, job sheets, transparency masters, tests, and answers to test and assignment sheets. Units of instruction are designed for use in more than one lesson or class period of instruction. Unit topics are as follows: relating to customers, retrieving customer information, updating customer information, and using troubleshooting techniques.
