Curriculum Guide: A Guide for Curriculum Development in the Los Angeles Community Colleges.

Designed to facilitate program and course approval and reporting processes within the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD), this curriculum guide provides criteria, regulations, and procedures, reflecting the California Education Code and Title 5 Administrative Code. Following introductory comments, part I details procedures for developing new courses or changing existing ones and for completing the proposed new course request form; standards and procedures related to criteria for transfer of baccalaureate-level courses; procedures for completing the course change and course reinstatement request forms; and a standard module request form. Part II describes the process for the development and approval of new educational programs. Part III discusses the development and approval of noncredit programs and the procedure for completing the application for approval of new noncredit courses. Finally, part IV presents standards and criteria for community service classes.
