Doing More of What Matters: The Key to Student Success
Culp, Marguerite M.
New Directions for Community Colleges, n131 p77-87 Fall 2005
This chapter identifies eleven factors that, when present in a community college, substantially increase the probability that student affairs professionals will be able to create programs that matter to the institution's core mission. The chapter also provides student affairs practitioners with tools to assess the climate in student affairs as well as in the institution for both students and student affairs programs. Finally, the chapter offers guidelines that practitioners can use to design student affairs programs that matter.
