This textbook is a course in physiology and hygiene for young children. Anatomy, alcohol and tobacco use, exercise, food, skin, eyesight, and hearing are covered. It is recommended that the pupils should frequently be required to write short compositions upon selected topics; and that the script interspersed in the lessons be written upon the black-board, and copied upon slates. This little volume receives the approval of that earnest and influential organization whose mission it is not alone to reform the adult, but to so educate the child that he may escape the snares and allurements of " King Alcohol."
