Analysis shows the character of city normal or training schools determines to a very large extent the character of the schools in which the children of the cities are taught. Recognizing the need of a comprehensive account of the organization, management, and work of the city normal or training schools, the author has made a careful study of them and prepared a report of the results obtained. This bulletin presents those results.
