These teacher and student editions on steering and suspension are part of the diesel mechanics series of instructional materials. The series aligns with the medium/heavy duty truck task list developed by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation and used by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence in the certification of medium/heavy duty truck technicians. The teacher edition consists of introductory pages (use of this publication, training and competency profile, national skills crosswalk, instructional/task analysis, basic skills icons and classifications, basic skills matrix, and tools, equipment, and materials list), teacher pages for each unit (unit contents, suggested activities, answers to assignment sheets, written test, answers to test, learning activities sheet, teacher supplements, transparency masters), and the student edition which contains these components for each unit: unit contents, objective sheet, information sheet, student supplements, assignment sheets, and job sheets. Section A: Chassis, Tires, and Wheels has these three units: cab components; tires, rims, and wheels; chassis components.
