This document is a workbook for preteens and teenagers between the ages of 11 and 15 that discusses relationships, dating, sexuality, and contraception. It focuses on building self-esteem and decision-making, encouraging teenagers to think through decisions they face about relationships and themselves. Workpages, which feature various types of questions and checklist activities, include these topics: (1) comparing values; (2) influences on decisions and making sample decisions; (3) communicating feelings; (4) choosing friends, including girlfriends and boyfriends; (5) dating and going together; (6) decisions about physical touching and sex; (6) saying "no" to sex; and (7) decisions about sex, birth control, and pregnancy. A resource list of materials on love and sex, birth control, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome, and deciding to be a parent is included. (ABL)
