This wordbook was developed as a supplementary aid for both native Spanish speakers learning English and the English speaking who are learning Spanish. It contains definitions of selected words important to a particular trade or occupation--in this case, child care. The English spelling of the word defined is in parentheses above the Spanish spelling in the Spanish version. The English definitions are on the pages opposite the Spanish definitions for cross references. Sentences utilizing the word are provided in both languages. The wordbook is suitable for classes in English as a second language, Spanish, vocational career exploration, or language improvement within a trade--in conjunction with other texts or materials. (KC)
