This kit, the third publication in a five-part series on the educational "ministry," offers elements designed for Catholic school faculty, parents, and students. The kit contains an article on the nature of discipleship; a booklet with prayer services, scripture references, liturgies, and sacramental preparation; three prayer cards; three posters; two student buttons; and plan and timeline for use. The purpose of the kit is to stimulate thinking and discussion about discipline and discipleship within Catholic education. It is intended to help faculty, parents, and students focus on the topic of discipline, especially as outer-directed discipline can be developed into self-discipline and guided toward discipleship.
