Lankford, James E.; West, Denise M. – Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools, 1993
Four experiments examined effects of noise in a high school woodworking class on student hearing loss. Results suggest that hazardous noise levels caused statistically significant temporary threshold shifts among the students, though there were no significant changes in hearing thresholds from the beginning to the end of the semester.
