Reports on a study of 17 undergraduate music education majors to determine whether sequential instructional techniques acquired in a methods course were transferred to a private instructional setting. Attempts to determine the type of rehearsal organizational structure used by successful Ohio high school mixed chorus directors. Examines relationships between rehearsal structure and either teaching style or student attitudes. Reports on a study of 10 preservice music teachers' ability to self-analyze videotapes accurately for teacher effectiveness and teacher intensity behaviors. Compares two classroom observation forms.
