A discussion of use of multiple regression to analyze faculty salaries, specifically for job discrimination litigation, concludes that, although appropriate regression studies may not win a case, their deficiencies or absence can lose one. In addition, the more complex the salary structure, the more useful regression analysis can be. (MSE)
