Individualism and Collectivism among University Students in Mexico and the United States.

Utilizes the General Collectivism Index (GCI), a survey questionnaire, to compare cultural characteristics between Mexican and U.S. college students. Responses suggested Mexican students possess greater collectivist tendencies, especially in interpersonal relationships. (MJP)

Social Desirability among Canadian and Japanese Students.

Briefly presents the results of a study comparing the responses of Asian Canadian students and European Canadian students for evidence of social responsibility bias. Using the Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding, the study found little evidence of bias. Discusses implications and weaknesses of the experiment. (MJP)
