This publication presents state guidelines for the physical education departments of elementary and secondary schools in Missouri. The following areas are covered: (1) administrative areas and concerns; (2) program implementation; (3) criteria for identification of exemplary programs; (4) available resource materials; and (5) scope and sequence of curriculum for kindergarten through high school. Publications and resources are listed and the Missouri physical education program assessment instrument is appended. (JD)
