Developed in response to the Regents' Action Plan Part 100.4 of the Commissioner's Regulation, which requires a cooperative effort between New York State teachers and librarians to ensure that new course equivalency requirements are fulfilled, this curriculum is designed to facilitate the coordination and integration of library and classroom instruction. Intended for use as guidelines for the teacher and the librarian in developing their cooperative lesson plan, 27 units are presented for the content areas of art, English, foreign language, health, home and career skills, life science, mathematics, music, physical education, physical science, science/social studies/technology, social studies, and technology. The information provided for each unit includes objectives, suggested resources, teaching materials, procedures, and suggested method of presentation. A bibliography of core resources and 12 special subject bibliographies are also included. Appendices contain sample management documents, an information skills checklist, a listing of resources, and a note on evaluation and participation. (KM)
