Lists six sections of resources on alcohol and alcoholism to guide librarians in selecting materials for alcoholic patrons and to show what kinds of education are possible in the public library. Provides guidelines for locating alcohol research information and building library collections on alcohol. Resource organizations, including government agencies, research institutions, and publishers, are identified and several access tools are described.
