A survey of junior and senior high school libraries in the New Orleans area yielded listings of magazines subscribed to most often, the most popular magazines, and the best reference sources. To measure effect of posters on children's selection of books from display table, two displays (one with poster) were placed in visible area of one public library and five elementary school media centers.
