Designed primarily as a reference for advisors and counselors of two-year college students planning to transfer to senior colleges and universities in North Carolina, this report enumerates the transfer policies of each of the 46 senior institutions in the state and provides data on transfer activity. Following introductory material about the report and its development, information relevant to transfer to each of the 46 senior colleges is provided, including answers to questions concerning admissions, housing, costs, financial aid, transferable hours, course repetitions, grading policy, transfer of credit by alternative means, transferability of courses from technical institutes and proprietary schools, general education requirements, and transfer agreements with other institutions by program.
