Hebert, Edward; Lee, Amelia; Williamson, Lynn
Journal of Research and Development in Education, v31 n4 p214-25 Sum 1998
Examined the impact of teaching experience on teaching efficacy. Preservice and experienced teachers completed a modified Teacher Efficacy Scale and discussed factors affecting their sense of teaching efficacy. Results found quantitative and qualitative differences in preservice and inservice teachers' efficacy beliefs. Respondents overwhelmingly listed external factors having negative implications as influences on their sense of efficacy. (SM)
