Describes research conducted with employees of the NCR Corporation that examined relationships between learning style preference, as measured by the Kolb Learning Style Inventory, and the effectiveness and acceptance of interactive video instruction to determine how best to individualize instruction. This study gathered information about the personal teaching theories, learning styles, and teaching methods and techniques of instructors in a business setting. Results of the study and principles derived from research on faculty development are reflected in a proposed intervention model which is designed to improve instructor skills. (MBR)
