This catalog provides descriptions of specific adult education programs funded under Sections 306 (a) (4) and 309 (1 and 2) of the Adult Education Act. It consists of three sections: project summaries, a subject index, and statistical matrices. Project summaries are organized alphabetically by state of origin and grouped under headings of major emphasis. Each entry includes the title, a contact person, objectives, description, funding information, target audience, products, and evaluation method. The subject index provides a cross-reference to programmatic emphases of each project. It contains major subject categories with additional descriptive phrases to aid in determining the project's exact focus. The final section contains six matrices which provide a profile of demonstration, staff development, research, and special projects by identifying programmatic emphases and weaknesses, and a summary of projects that generate products.
