This document correlates resource materials to items on the clinical and public school versions of the American Association on Mental Deficiency (AAMD) Adaptive Behavior Scale. The rating scales were designed for mentally retarded children and adults and measure behavior in terms of independent functioning, physical development, economic activity, language development, number and time concepts, domestic activity, vocational activity, self-direction, responsibility, and socialization. Correlated instructional resources are representative of those available to persons involved in the education and training of the severely and profoundly handicapped. Resource materials are displayed with matching test items and specific page references. Full bibliographic information and publisher addresses are included. The document was designed to offer a listing of materials useful in providing instruction or educational experiences.
