More needs to be done to reduce inequalities in diabetes care among ethnic groups, say experts, after the government published a five year progress report on its national strategy for the disease.
The report examines how well the NHS is performing against a range of standards set out in 2003 in the national service framework delivery strategy and pinpoints areas for improvement during the second half of the government’s 10 year strategy.
