Member Digital Library Subscriptions
The IEEE Member Digital Library brings IEEE members exclusive, instant online access to full text of all IEEE journals, magazines, transactions, letters, and conference papers. IEEE Member Digital Library subscribers can file up to 25 articles each month in the file cabinet with the ability to carry over up to 10 unused monthly downloads to the next month. The carried over downloads do not accumulate each month, thus the maximum downloads available in any given month is 35 (25 monthly downloads + 10 carried over downloads).
Setting Up a Member Digital Library
- You must be an IEEE member.
- When you join or renew your membership, select the IEEE Member Digital Library service.
- Remember to keep your IEEE membership current.
- You must have an IEEE Account. Your personal IEEE account is the key that unlocks both your online IEEE personal subscriptions and your IEEE Member Digital Library file cabinet.
As an IEEE Member Digital Library subscriber, you can view the full text of articles from publications that are not in your personal subscriptions. While signed in as an IEEE member, simply file the article in your IEEE Member Digital Library file cabinet for convenient full text viewing.

eBook Classics for IEEE Members
IEEE members now have access to more than 250 eBooks from the IEEE Press collection through IEEE Xplore. The eBook collection spans a number of today's technologies across 15 different content areas, and includes:
- practical handbooks;
- introductory and advanced texts;
- reference works;
- professional books.
This collection of eBooks is offered to members at no additional cost. Newer eBooks will be added every year.
Finding IEEE eBook Classics
- Log in to IEEE Xplore using your IEEE Account.
- Under the "Browse" heading in the left-hand navigation, click on "Books".
- Select the "Classics" tab from the top of the page. Under this tab you will find a listing of all the free titles.

We encourage IEEE members to take advantage of the outstanding free content available via the IEEE eBook Classics member benefit. Please keep in mind that IEEE eBook Classics chapter PDFs are for your sole use. Chapters should not be archived for distribution to third parties, and your IEEE username and password should not be shared.
