Meet the IEEE Client Services Team
The IEEE Client Services team provides IEEE Xplore digital library training and promotional materials. The team works with institutions and individuals who subscribe to IEEE Xplore digital library subscription products to raise awareness of IEEE and increase usage.
![]() | Rachel Berrington, MLS Director, IEEE Client Services Rachel is the Director of IEEE Client Services, a team of international information professionals responsible for global customer outreach, awareness, and training programs for the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and other IEEE subscription products. Prior to joining IEEE, she was Corporate Librarian for Mentor Graphics. Rachel was President of the Oregon Chapter of the Special Libraries Association for 2002–2003. |
![]() | Jalyn Kelley, MLIS IEEE University Partnership Program (UPP) Senior Manager Select universities in the US Jalyn works closely with students, librarians, and faculty at select top engineering schools. Jalyn has been with IEEE since 2008. Prior to joining IEEE, Jalyn was a Research Analyst at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) and News Researcher at the San Antonio Express-News. Jalyn is active in the Engineering Libraries Division (ELD) of American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and is a past President of the Texas Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). |

![]() | Alex Liu, MIS Manager, Client Services, Asia Southeast Asia (see below for specific countries) Alex works with IEEE customers in Australia, Fiji, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Brunei. He also manages Client Services Managers based in Asia and supports their services to customers throughout the region. Alex was an academic librarian from National University of Singapore libraries, with 9 years of experience in various functional areas, including reference services, digital resources, user education, and reference management. Prior to joining IEEE, he worked in the Corporate Records and Information Services division at Economic Development Board, a statutory board of the Government of Singapore, providing market research and monitoring services for the organization. Alex holds a Master's degree in Information Studies from Nanyang Technological University. |

Prior to joining IEEE, Dan, as the product & training supervisor of iGroup China, has already cooperated with IEEE to provide customers with training and other professional support services. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology from Southwest University and a Master's degree in Applied Psychology from Capital University of Physical Education and Sports. |
![]() | Dhanukumar Pattanashetti, BE, MLISc, PhD IEEE Client Services and University Partnership Program Manager Sri Lanka; West and South India; Indian Institute of Science Bangalore Dhanu works with customers in Southern and Western regions in India and Sri Lanka. He manages the University Partnership Program for the region. Prior to joining IEEE, Dhanu was working with Thomson Reuters, PES Institute of Technology and Accenture. He has also served on the Editorial Committee of the Asian Chapter of the Special Libraries Association. He has a PhD in Library and Information Science from University of Mysore; Master's degree in Library and Information Science and a bachelor's degree in Engineering. |

Ranbir has over thirteen years' experience in the information industry, holding positions at Educomp, Edukonnect, and HCL Learning. Prior to joining IEEE, Ranbir was senior manager of client engagement at Global Information Systems Technology and lead a team of professionals who trained end users on various publisher products and a team who provided customer technical support. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship & Leadership from Amity University, Noida. |

Eszter has worked in the information industry since 2003 and joined IEEE in 2013 from EBSCO, where she worked as account manager. Eszter gained her Magister degree in Linguistics from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin; she speaks German, English, and Hungarian and is based in Berlin, Germany. |
![]() | Quinn Lockhart IEEE Client Services Manager Europe and UK (see below for specific countries) Quinn works with IEEE customers in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Portugal, Spain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Luxembourg, Norway, and Sweden. Quinn has a strong background in academic STEM librarianship with a focus on research and instruction. They have presented on various conference topics such as humanizing online learning, using GenAI as a research tool, and creating a chatbot for virtual research services. Before joining IEEE, Quinn worked as a Research and Instruction Librarian at New Jersey Institute of Technology. They hold a bachelor's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from Hampshire College, and a masters degree in Library and Information Science from Simmons University. They are based in New Jersey, USA. |

Tom came to IEEE from Nokia Bell Labs and he holds a Master of Science in Information & Library Science from The University of Kentucky. |

Brian worked as an academic librarian for 18 years at universities in Michigan, Florida, and New Hampshire, with interests in information literacy, scholarly communication, and collection development. In his previous positions, Brian supported students and faculty in Engineering, Computer Science, and other STEM disciplines. He holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University and a Master's degree in Information Technology with a concentration in Instructional Design and Development from Nova Southeastern University. |
