Maryam Rahmani
Maryam Rahmani is The Global Partnership Officer at Global Cyber Alliance where she uses her extensive technology sales and business development experience and Cybersecurity policy knowledgebase to support GCA’s mission, “eradicating systemic cyber risk cross-sector and across the globe. Maryam holds a master of science in cybersecurity policy from the University of Maryland University College and a bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional.
Maryam is deeply committed to outreach and awareness activities in support of encouraging more women to pursue careers in science and technology especially information security. With Dr. Charlotte Blair and Anna Romaniuk, Maryam serves as the Technical Co-Chair for the 2017 IEEE R1 & R2 Women in Engineering (WIE) Forum East. She is the IEEE-Computer Society Membership Chair for Washington-Northern Virginia chapter. She is an active member of the ISSA Women in Security (WIS) Security Interest Group(SIG). She had served as a board member of Society of High Performance Computing Professional (SHPCP). She advocates STEAM (STEM+Art) career for women.
