Abstract:

Test procedures for microwave field disturbance sensors to measure radio frequency(RF) radiated field strength of the fundamental frequency, harmonic frequencies, near field powerflux density, and nonharmonic spurious emissions of sensors operating within the frequency rangeof 300 MHz to 40 GHz are defined.
Scope:
This standard sets forth a test procedure for measurement of radio frequency (RF) emissions from intrusion-alarm field disturbance sensors in the frequency range 300 MHz to 40 GHz.
Purpose:
This project is being proposed in order to update the existing standard to the current state of the art.
