Abstract:

Standard methods for the measurement of electromagnetic field strength in radiowave propagation are described in detail. These are for frequencies below 1000 MHz, and include the standard-antenna method and the standard-field method.
Scope:
Most measurements with which radio wave propagation is concerned involve the measurement of fieldstrength. Standard methods for the measurement of this fundamental quantity for frequencies below 1000 megahertz are described.
