Abstract:

Errors with Aeolin Vibration Testing (AVT) are corrected in this corrigendum.
Scope:
This Corrigendum corrects the error with Aeolian Vibration Testing (AVT) - Section 6.5.3.1. For AVT, the number of test cycles is currently 1 million, but it should be 100 million as in 2011 revision.
Purpose:
This standard provides both construction and performance requirements for maintenance of the proper optical fiber integrity and optical transmission capabilities of ADSS cable. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety issues associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
