Court allows US human embryonic stem cell research to continue, for now

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia permanently lifted an injunction on 28 September imposed by a lower court prohibiting federal funding of human embryonic stem cell research. The ruling allows research to continue while the lower court considers the lawsuit that charges federal funding for human embryonic stem cell research is prohibited.
